
Dr. Joe Harmon, D.D.S., F.I.C.O.I.
Dr. Joseph Harmon was born in Juneau, Alaska: graduated Sumna Cue Laude and received the Alpha Omega scholarship award for attaining the highest scholastic standing for 4 years of Dental Study at Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1967.
He received individual honors from oral surgery, peridontics and gold foil, and was selected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon. As a Captain in the US Army, he served on the staff at Brooke General Hospital in Texas and also served in Vietnam where he received the Presidential
Commendation Award. He established a private general practice in Anchorage in 1969. He was appointed by the governor of Alaska to the State Comprehensive Health Advisory Council on which he served as dental spokesperson for five years.
Along the way Dr. Harmon received a Fellowship with the International Congress of oral Implantologists, a Fellowship with the American Endodontis Society, a Membership in the Society for Occlusion Studies, and a greater appreciation for the wonderful profession of dentistry. Dr.
Joe Harmon is also co-founder of the Health and Regeneration center in Girdwood, Alaska. This science and education center offers a modern clinic and supports workshops and health related activities within a creative and positive mountain environment.
